The newest version of Samsung’s Galaxy 10.1 tablet — also
known as the 2014 version — is only 7.9mm thick and weigh 547g, creating it
thinner and slimmer than its forerunner. It also sport the same faux-leather back
cover seen on the Galaxy Note 3.
When you swich on the Note 10.1, it is challenging not to
be offered away by its 2560 x 1600 display, which provides wide viewing perspectives
and vibrant colour. We compared the 10.1-inch display with that of an iPad with
Retina display and discovered that pictures were both brighter and sharper and text was better rendered on the Note 10.1.
The Notes are a
different breed though - one we can't see Samsung giving up on any time soon.
Of course, it's always the phablet enjoying most of the spotlight and the Note
3 has already had several occasion to emphatically prove that it well deserved
every bit of it.
In terms of specifications, the Note 10.1 clearly stand out
as the most highly effective tablet out there presently.
